We are in the process of producing a new film. The film outlines ideas for a necessary revolution.
A necessary revolution?
We live in a society that is sawing at the branch it is sitting on. Governments have largely abandoned their attempts to curb the climate catastrophe. Thousands of billions were approved for armaments in 2025. Hundreds of thousands of people are being forced to fight each other in wars. The Mediterranean is a mass grave. Fascists are on the rise almost everywhere.
It's time for us to think about how we can get out of this misery. It's time we agreed on a new strategy. It's time to outline a new communist project.
"I go to bed every night dreaming of another recession."
To make a modest contribution to this, we have started working on a new film project. Every field, every factory" is about how we can establish a sustainable mode of production and get rid of the current one.
Comrades that took part in the struggles told us how the system was last challenged in the 1970s and how the movement was defeated. Theorists describe what the transition to a liberated society could look like. Workers who have been working in essential industries for decades explain what is harmful and pointless about their work and how it could be organised sensibly.
From this thread of history, anticipation and everyday experience, we ask the question anew: What is to be done?
